The CatX Mini AV Tx unit transmits sharp high quality VGA video and audio. Being only slightly larger than a VGA connector, can fit directly to the VGA source and consumes less than 0.25W taking its power directly from a DDC2B compliant VGA source.
The CatX Mini AV transmitter and receiver units are connected with standard low cost UTP networking cable.

CatX Mini AV Tx can transmit VGA video and audio up to 300m when used with CatXQ AV Rx2.
The CatX Mini AV Rx unit is the same size as the CatX Mini AV Tx, powered from a local 5VDC power supply. Continuous adjustability ensures perfect picture at any distance up to 150m. All CatX AV units are compatible with all CatX Mini and CatX AVP transmitters / receivers. Considered as the smallest VGA cat5 extender system in the market, the small size of the CatX Mini AV units ensures discrete connection to the VGA source and output display; perfect for installations with limited space.
